My hard drive crashed on my three year old Dell personal computer and the technician replaced it, and replaced one of my two 256 RAM with a new 1GB RAM. Great, I especially needed the extra memory capacity. The only problem two months later was when Microsoft updates did not allow an invalidated copy of XP for its updates. You see, the technician put his copy of XP into my machine, oops. I decided to go ahead and pay Microsoft $156.00 to validate his XP copy on my system, rather than go through all the mess of a do over.
