Yes! Aerostream SAVED me $40,000.

Once I installed Aerostream's aeration system five years ago in my very old septic system. It appeared to be working well. I had peace of mind. Yesterday when my required five year septic system pump out date approached I wondered, what we were going to find when they opened the tank. My local septic system service looked inside, put their measure tube in the tank and pulled up a clear tube of water. There was about 25% solids at the bottom of the tube. They were clearly surprised. They called Dave at Aerostream to verify their findings. Yes, all was good and the system was doing well. We decided to pump it out for optimum maintenance and to give it a good restart.
Eight years before this I had to have my distribution box dug up and replaced along with a tank pump out because it was completely clogged. That fixed the immediate problem but didn't provide a long term solution. I had soil guys come out to confirm I had nowhere else to move the drain field in my yard. They suggested we could put in an "alternative system" for $40,000. I worried and kept looking for a better alternative. Then I found that Aerostream had such good results at University of Maryland's test field. It made sense to me. I ran power out to where I could place the little generator unit and run the air hose to the tank. (Not as complicated as it sounds.) For hundreds of dollars versus $40,000, Aerostream and I have extended the life of my septic system, five years and counting.
