I've had my OmniBlend V for a year and 5 months now and I have used it nearly every day for my smoothies (both fruit w/ice and green veggie). Works like a charm and I really like that it fits on my counter beneath my overhead cupboards. I have the regular square shaped pitcher. I still wish I could have gotten glass rather than plastic, but the price for same performance as a Vitamix or BlenTech far outweighs. The only thing It won't blend up are seeds from fresh passion fruit; those things are indestructible (too smooth, spherical, and tiny for the blades to catch.) I love, love my blender.
