Condor Moving Systems

Disappointing dishonesty with tip sharing

I'm a repeat customer, and I've been with Condor Moving Systems three times. First two times they were great. This time, the move itself wasn't so bad, what bothered me was the foreman of three movers, he wasn't friendly. And my main problem was that I tipped the foreman $50 cash to be spread equally between the three movers. The two other workers did all the work. They were really nice, respectful, and had a great attitude. I called twice, and asked what the process is for tipping appropriately, and they said ten dollars is good. After the move was completed, I paid for the service in cash, and tipped the lead guy/driver $50 and said it was to be divided among all three. As he was walking away, I said "don't forget the $50 is to share", and he put his hand up to quiet me, because one of the other movers was entering. I though that was weird, so I made sure to tell Pasquale, who came in to use the restroom before they left, that the $50 is to be split between the three, just to be sure they all know. Then one of the guys called me, because they each only got $10 and the lead guy told them that I only gave $30. I called the company the next day, because this was my money that was intended to be divided equally among the three. But one guy kept more than his fair share. I was really disappointed because the company didn't pursue this further.I was disappointed in the company, and the lead denied the amount that I gave him for tip. Movers said this guy does this all the time. Its unfortunate for the movers. I was really disappointed in this whole experience. If you do want to tip, make sure you give the tip to each individual mover. If you give it to just this particular lead guy/driver, you can't be sure everyone will get their fair share.
