ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH JASPER!!! Do your research on this company!

We entered into a contract with Jasper in Jan 2012 to replace our roof from wind damage. Jasper agreed we could give them one check to pay for all of the repair, which we did. We paid in full. Two months later we receive another bill from Jasper stating we still owe them $1,200 more! I called my insurance agent. He said he received a call from Jasper demanding this payment. He denied them so they called us.

Our insurance agent told us that he knew this was going to happen because Jasper is "very well known for these practices." My agent told me we should not pay the $1,200 since we already paid in full and Jasper cashed our check (the day we signed it in fact).

Jasper left over 500 nails and pieces of aluminum around my yard and never cleaned it up. We had to hire another company to come clean up Jasper's mess. We also got two flat tires!

Since then, we have received harassing phone calls from various phone numbers (so I can't block just one number). We even received a threat that was hand written on a Jasper door tag stating they would sue us for non-payment!

Yesterday, I got a call from another phone number stating they were going to put a lien on my house!

This was the last straw for us. Word to the wise, do some research on Jasper BEFORE you do anything with them. Check out www.ripoffreport.com too!

Jasper has attempted to contact Mr. Michaels on several occasions to help him understand his balance to no avail. The balance on Mr. Michael's account is completely valid and is simply the remainder of what we had originally quoted (depreciation check). His insurance company had also already supplied him with a check for the entire balance before work even began. In addition, Mr. Michaels failed to notify us about the alleged damage done to his property until over 2 months after the project was completed. He then resorted to hiring another company to take care of it after we had apologized and offered to correct his concerns at our expense. It has been almost a year since Jasper completed his replacement and unfortunately we feel like we have exhausted all resources to get in touch with Mr. Michaels. We hope that he will reopen the lines of communication so that we can resolve this issue ASAP.
