The day after we purchased our 14 year-old home, we realized that the a/c unit serving the upstairs had stopped working. Our home warranty sent out Carolina Air and that was the best thing that happened to us in this experience. Our technician (Roger P. ) found 2 leaks and no freon in the system, so we decided to replace the aging system rather than put a temporary fix on it which would still be fairly costly.

Gary, the owner, was kind enough to waive the service charge that day and he also had Roger do a small patch job/freon fill-up just to tide us over until the new system was installed. Both were unexpected but much appreciated! Roger provided great service, as did the technicians who installed the unit a week later (Jesus and Carlos) and Gary himself came out a week after that to check the system.

The service from beginning to end was top-notch and really turned around what was a bad discovery as new homeowners. The demeanor and presentation of everyone at Carolina Air made us think this is a local, family business that prides itself on outstanding service. To learn that they are actually a much larger company is quite impressive, as it is often difficult to maintain such high service standards throughout a larger crew. Nice work, Carolina Air. We will definitely be trusting you to maintain our system for years to come.
