My daughter-in-law worked at Collinwood Assisted Living and Memory Care for a few years and we got to visit her a few times. She stopped working there before we began using the facility, but we thought of them first. I put my mother there because the care of the people who work their for the people who live there is phenomenal. They have lots of activities and real personal care you won't find elsewhere.

The food service is phenomenal as well. They don't just have a set meal and hope you eat it, they have a menu to choose from. We eat there ourselves quite often when we visit.

They have an open door policy and have a terrific nursing staff. They are very strict on handling medications, according to the book, and if you don't come down for lunch they will come ask if they can bring you or take you to lunch or bring you some tea and a cookie as a snack.

I feel good having my mother there and can't say enough good things about Collinwood.
