My mother has been in Collinwood Assisted Living and Memory Care of Ft. Collins, CO for about 4 years now. She moved from a very small community in Missouri where she had always been. I choose them because they had different levels of service (Independent Living, Assisted Living, and memory care). What is so wonderful is that the staff she see's in her daily life made the transition from independent to assisted living very comfortable for her.

They provide daily activities such as cards, bingo, movies, church and devotions. The dinning staff are truly part of her family there. What I found out by doing this is that what could have been a very traumatic move, was made easier because she had all these people she was familiar with supporting her. Another thing that I have noticed and appreciate is that there staff is so solid, that they are always there.

There is genuine caring taking place there. I appreciate greatly the director Kristen. She is an excellent facilitator and has helped me find valuable resources. I am really pleased, and hope my mother can live out her life there.
