I bought a washer at another appliance location right after moving to central Illinois (did not know about appliance-world till too late). The washer broke down in less than 5 years (it seems the washer suffered from a power surge during a storm). Appliance World tried to repair it but there were way too many things wrong with my washer. The repairman (Rick, #402 -extremely nice and very efficient) contacted John Shephard and explained my problems and that I was wanting to quit trying to repair my washer and buy a new washer. John gave in store credit for the new parts (they were removed from the still broken washer). I went to the Appliance World where Darrell Haslett sold me a new washer. Darrell was also very nice and did not try to get me to buy any specific washer. He answered all my questions and let me make my decision as to what I wanted to buy. I would recommended Appliance World for both repairing appliances and for buying a new appliance.
