Love my new washer BUT

I paid $35 to have my machine delivered and installed. The man hooked up my hose and plugged it in. He told me I needed a pvc pipe to install it properly. He then left. I called Bob Green in the Decatur store and told him what happened and also informed him I had no manual to the machine. He said he would get on both my problems. To date I have not heard about either problem. So no, I wouldn't recommend your company. I want the original manual that went with my machine and my husband had to go get pvc pipe and try to fix so I can use machine. Still is not fixed properly

Installation of PVC as a drain standpipe should only be done by a certified plumber. Our installers are not certified plumbers as written in our installation guidelines form that we have a signed copy of from you at the time of purchase.

In regards to the owner's manual, we marked your washer down $150 from the regular price because it was "out of box" unit. Original packing/papers are not always with these units and for that we mark them down aggressively. Per your request we did call GE and ask for a more "original" looking owner's manual but the response was that they would only print one off the internet, staple it, and mail it to you. This is the exact same procedure that Bob offered you, and we have since mailed out an owner's manual to your address.
