Repair service not customer friendly

Not sure who is on their radio spots, but the non emergency service doesn't provide any information without me calling in. I had to call in to see if the part that was ordered came in. I can't sit around all day waiting for a call. My life doesn't stop because I have an appliance repair appointment.
