Mr. Rooter Of The Hudson Valley came to install a thermostat for me. I think I was very much over-billed. I checked to see how much a thermostat could have cost, and the highest price I could find was $18.99. Yet I was billed well over $200 dollars for the work. I don't understand why it was so much, since the technician wasn't here that long. He really rushed around to get the work done. He found out he needed to get another part, so he went out to buy it. I had an appointment I had to get to, so he was trying to get everything done before I needed to leave.

I had very good experiences the couple of times I used Mr. Rooter before, but this time I was just floored by the price. The work and service was good, but I wouldn't trust the price. The price was terrible, that's why I rated them so low. I never expected it to be like that.
