Hey everyone, me again. I wrote a review a little earlier.
I hope I'm not treating this review board like my own personal blog, but I wanted to give another update of my experiences at PFCLA.

I feel that choosing the right fertility clinic is so important, especially with how stressful TTC is. As mentioned in my last review, I was at HRC Fertility. I was there for almost 2 1/2 years and all I got out of it was wasted time, wasted money and 8 failed IUI's. Now that I am able to compare PFCLA with my former fertility clinic, I am able to see such drastic differences.

PFCLA has 2 sites. It was my first time in the Wilshire office. First of all, the office itself is a very welcoming environment. When you first walk in, you are greeted with elegant furniture, orchids and beautiful decor.
It does not feel at all like a "hospital", but rather a chic hotel.

The staff were very friendly and the nurses were understanding. The anesthesiologist was a sweet man with a funny sense of humor.

But, I can't say enough about Dr. Sahakian. He is absolutely wonderful!! He is truly one of a kind!
Let's start with communicating with patients-
So he was recently in Europe for a conference:
(And I have been very hormonal from the stim meds)..I would constantly email him with questions..and no matter what time of the day or night, weekend or weekday, I would receive an immediate response from him. Can you believe that??
A doctor who responds to his patients within minutes (especially when he is on another continent?!?)
I have coworkers who won't respond to my emails and we work in the same office! Lol

Dr. Sahakian is also great at what he does! I found him to be very knowledgeable, much more knowledgeable than my previous doctor at HRC.

In addition to this, he has a great sense of humor and is very reassuring. I really can't say enough about this doctor.
He is very intelligent, genuine, accessible, professional, and trustworthy!

Again, I'm still fairly new here but I would highly recommend PFCLA and especially, Dr. Sahakian! If you have been at another fertility clinic and you are feeling frustrated by the doctors who don't seem to care about you, you should give this place a call.
