the WORST company in RI!

This company over charges for their products and has little to no service. AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE! THEY WILL MAKE YOUR LIFE MISERABLE! My $3500 door has bubbled twice, the handleset has broken 3x and the finish on the door scratches when you look at it. Trying to resolve these issues is like pulling teeth. It takes months to set something up and even longer to get a single call back. Dont bother talking to John or Bruce they do not return calls ever. I even contactedt he better business Bureau and they LIED to them and stated that my issue had been resolved which it most certainly had not. I offered photos to BBB for proof. I suggest you stay far far afar away from this company - I wish I would have never ever replaced my door as it has been the worst home improvement experience of my life. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

All the problems experienced by MS Bradshaw were due to manufacturing defects beyond our control. We do not make our own doors, We purchased this door prefinished from Jeld-Wen, a very large and reputable manufacturer.

Her frustration (and ours) is due to the tedious process involved with the manufacturer's warranty service. We have been to her home numerous times to verify her problems and have had the manufacturer's service dept out to see her as well. A new door was ordered and installed and despite all our efforts, it had defects too. It took a couple of weeks for this door to bubble and start to de-laminate, so it was not obvious at first. A third door is now in the works with the assurance from the manufacturer to be from a new manufacturing process. We have been reassured this door should be free of defects as they have changed the foam core, which apparently was causing the problem.

While I appreciate her frustration with how long this is taking, we have been fully involved with the resolution at every stage.

I resent her allegation I lied to the BBB. Her second door was installed during that time and it appeared all was in order. It was later discovered it too had defects.

We have (and continue) to do all we can to resolve this matter and we desire her complete satisfaction. She must be a little more patient, but will be satisfied in the end.
