A reverse mortgage was the prefect choice for us. We owned the home out right, and it had a lot of appreciation. We needed improvements and a reverse mortgage would allow us to do them now and pay later as the home continues to appreciate. We love the feature where the balance of our credit line appreciate at the same rate as the interest charged. We also used our loan to pay off some higher rate loans and then had that additional cash each month. Win win!!!
