I was referred to Todd at Colorado Springs America's Tile-Stone & Design by a small, locally-owned kitchen and bath store. Todd is also a small business owner and I prefer patronizing locally-owned stores.

I was interested in getting two bathroom floors, the vanities and one shower tiled but this was my first time dealing with this type of material. From the start, Todd was great. He took time to explain the differences and variations in the stones. It was all actually very overwhelming, there were so many things to look at and consider. I was led to the natural stone, it really appealed to me. I asked to take a tile home on my first visit. Todd suggested that I take home a set of them, so I could really see how the tiles would look. I thought that was nice because I'm a visual person. I also thought it was great because Todd didn't know me at all, that was my first time meeting him, and he was very accommodating and sent me home with a set of tiles to lay out on my floor to consider.

I wasn't sure what I wanted for my master bathroom, and he showed me travertine tile in cool and warm colors. He let me take those home too. They were so beautiful, I ended up using them on the floor and in the shower.

Todd has been in the business a long time, and he knows what he's talking about. He really takes the time to explain about the negatives and positives of the various stones. He showed me how to enhance the natural stone, as well as bringing out the vivid colors. I was so thankful for that knowledge because I'm sure I wouldn't have been taught that if I'd gone to a big, name brand store.

My experience was really a great and positive experience. I'd highly recommend Todd to anybody! I really enjoyed working with him.
