Never even a "Thank You"
After agreeing to purchase my Mercedes, I was encouraged to "buy before the end of the month" to help their sales production. I agreed and purchased the vehicle. From there, the experience was not pleasant, or customer friendly. The tone of the sales "manager" was simply condescending. So much so, I actually had to terminate a phone conversation with him when he repeatedly interrupted me. I was misled about the "hidden costs" in the purchase (I was required to purchase their "interior protectant" in addition to the agreed cost of the vehicle), shipping (both when it would occur, as well as the cost), and the delivery of the paperwork (title, etc). Each time (after the time period had passed) I called and outlined my specific understanding of what was promised me, and each time I was told that it wasn't a "big deal" and that I should be happy with how smoothly the process proceeded. And believe me, NO ONE at Greater Chicago Motor ever even said "Thank You'... Nice car, terrible sales experience.
