I am writing to say thanks for a great service experience at Swedish Motors. I came in with an unusual and difficult-to-diagnose problem with the rear suspension on my beloved 95 Volvo 850 that a dealer had already tried and failed to fix (yet charged me a considerable amount for the attempt). At first, the technicians at Swedish Motors also made an incorrect diagnosis that resulted in another unsuccessful repair. I was really upset, figuring I was on the hook for another expensive repair that didnt fix the problem. But thats when David, the owner, said to me dont worry, we dont work that way. With some more conferring by the technicians and some extra effort by Jeff, the mechanic, and Max, the counterman, the problem was correctly diagnosed and fixed. And, unlike the dealer, Swedish Motors charged me only for the actual repair, not for the first unsuccessful attempt. Now the car rides great again and I have a new repair shop I can trust and rely upon. It is really something to see a company that values honesty, integrity, good humor, and genuine concern for the customers problem, even when those values cost them some revenue in the short run. And it will only be the short run. You have a new longtime customer. Thanks again!
