Pete's Gear Shop was better than average. I had Pete tear down a transmission on a vehicle that the dealer was having issues with. He diagnosed the problem before he pulled the transmission out and his diagnosis was 100 accurate. He proceeded to pull it out and repair it. The problem was exactly what he thought it was. He's very sharp and his ability is exemplary.
