I was pretty happy with Service Specialties Inc. until this one thing happened, as I will explain. They installed a heater for me, and afterwards, I discovered that the filter was not a standard size you could pick up at the store. I was a little irritated by this, because I wish when they had installed the unit, they had told me it was not a standard, common filter. So, I had to order it online. I did. Then, it would not fit. I had to sort of crumble it up to squeeze it in. So I called them, and they said the bottom was defective, and they would order a part. The one week I was told it would take ended up being several weeks. Then, when it got here, the first service tech they sent out told me it would fit, so I asked him to try it. Of course, it would not go in. So, they had another guy scheduled the next day to come out and look at it. Either him, or the first guy was two hours late, I forget which, but I got up at 7:00 AM, and whichever one it was that was late did not get here until 9:00 AM. Anyway, come to find out, one of the screws in the thing which held the filter had not been put in right, and the second guy unscrewed it, and put it in correctly, and then the filter fit. This was the point where I became unhappy, because here it was several weeks later, and it was something so simple that could have been fixed in a few minutes. One of the girls at the office was very nice and helpful throughout this process. She was very polite and nice, and I think she genuinely cared about my problem. I do not know if this was just a one-off for Service Specialties Inc., because I never had any problems before this, and nobody is perfect. But, that is why I gave them Four Stars instead of Five Stars.
