R&R Heating & Air Conditioning

Exceeded Expectations

First, I was not asked or paid, and was not given any discount or special treatment to write this review. I only write when I think my evaluation, good or bad, is earned.

I decided to have a new, more efficient furnace installed to replace our 15-year-old furnace that came with our house. It was STILL functioning well but based on my long life experience, determined that I would rather replace it when I wanted, not after I needed. Being in need in mid-winter and waiting is not something I wanted to do at my age. That was my choice, not by a sales pitch.

I contacted R&R because they have been here a few times over past years for other services, and they were easy to contact. I tried a couple of others who I assume are also good, but communications with R&R were a bit easier, and they are responsive.

First, they sent their sales guy, Tyler, to take measurements, including evaluating our needs, then sent me a clearly written quote, including all equipment, parts, and labor rolled into one number. The unit I selected was not the least nor the most expensive. Even with a 90+ efficiency rate vs. the old 80, it will be awhile before I recoup it. I did add a more expensive and much thicker media/air filter but chose not to add a pricey UV light air "purifier" that was available as an option. DO YOUR HOMEWORK BEFORE YOU CALL ANYONE. Some things are a lot of hype, and "reviews" are not always true. I try to study the science and multiple sources.

Back to R&R, besides the Sales Rep, the installers were on time and did excellent work, even though there were a couple of installation difficulties they encountered unexpectedly due to paneling to be removed and reinstalled in the utility room. It took longer than anticipated. Not their fault. Better diligent than hurried.

Without going into a lot more detail, which I could easily do, the other person for whom I am extremely grateful is the billing clerk (don't know her real job title, but it should be "QUEEN"), Her name is Ginger. She is fabulous, on the phone and via email.

Whatever my question, she answered it accurately and quickly. When I applied for a credit from Avista (which was subsequently approved by Avista), Ginger helped facilitate that by directly contacting her Avista contact, and all within MINUTES of my call for help.

R&R: GIVE HER A RAISE!
