The last guy A-1 sent out was really, really great. He was extremely personable, knowledgeable, and perceptive. He noticed that every time they had someone come out, they had to put freon in the outdoor heat pump unit, and recognized that it had to be because there was a leak, so he said he would be back out the next day to fix the leak. He was very, very careful, and just a well-spoken gentleman. We were really impressed with him.

Right now though, my experience with A-1 has been kind of luck of the draw. I don't know who does the hiring, but they should really look into their guys better. This last guy was they best they've sent out since Old Jay retired, and he had been taking care of us for years. Overall though, the guys since then had been pretty average or just above average until the last guy, and he was very, very nice.

Whoever A-1 sends out represents the whole company, one way or the other, and that's just the way it is in business. They really need to drive that into some of the guys who go out to do work for them. I'm willing to work with whoever they send, but I'm the type of guy who calls immediately to give feedback, and I love to share positive experiences. So overall, aside from the guys who were not as great as the last, I've been very satisfied. I've been with A-1 for decades, and I wouldn't dream of leaving.
