The Sound Room

Knowledgeable and trustworthy. They stand behind their work and their pricing is fair.

We completely renovated our home over the last few years and have had The Sound Room install some fairly complicated systems for us. They also have done a lot of work integrating those systems. The results and their support have been very good.

The Sound Room was referred to me by a customer of theirs and, when I met with them, I was impressed with their expertise. Dave's knowledge and the people on his team made me feel confident about using them. Their commitment to doing this big project for us and the fact that they kept coming back for more is a demonstration of their confidence.

They installed a full entertainment system with a plasma television on the main floor of our home and tied that to a central music system and a lighting system. They also installed a security/surveillance system with 12 cameras as well as a paging system through the telephone. Finally, they created a theater room with a full, surround-sound system that is very impressive.

Because our system is elaborate, you would expect some problems, but it has been relatively problem-free. I appreciate that The Sound Room has done a good job teaching me enough about the system so that I can do some trouble-shooting on my own.

They are very customer-oriented and get to know their customers well. Dave does a good job of staying close to the customer even after the job is finished. If we need him, he is there. His support technician also takes good care of us and can talk us through any issues on the phone or come out and fix a problem.

Dave is a smart guy. I went on a business trip the day that they he had to pull wires from the attic for one of the projects. When I came back, I thought he had pulled too many wires, but he explained that he had done that in case we wanted to do any other work in the future. He did not press me to pay for it, he just bet on the future. Sure enough, we have used every one of those cables through the years. When we started expanding, the cables were there.

You expect home entertainment companies to know what they are talking about but there are not a whole lot of companies that understand enough about integrating systems. The Sound Room knows how to integrate and you can trust them. They stand behind their work, including anything that might be an issue. Also, their pricing is fair.
