Just a big headache

My car had broken down on the way to Florida. I called around and AAMCO Transmissions & Auto Service said they could fix the problem with the fuel plump. I had to be back by Friday and they didn't pick up until late that night. The car was fixed on Saturday morning. You should probably shop around some more. Don't necessarily choose them because they're a national brand. They're independent and run by their own rules. When I got back to my BMW dealer, I found out the price was a lot cheaper. It was just a big headache.

This customer broke down on thanksgiving day. We towed the car in & took a look at his BMW. The fuel pump failed. Fuel pumps for BMW aren't readily available. I immediately ordered a fuel pump, the next day woke up at 5am on Saturday to drive 2 hrs to make sure i got this gentleman's part & paid my employee overtime to make sure this customer got back home with his 2 daughters that were stuck in a hotel. I apologize that it was a headache for the customer, broken vehicles always are, but i am curious what the cost would have been for this customer to stay in a hotel for the entire weekend & leave on Monday?
