I have owned the same property for 63 years, and I have had four or five different arborists over that period. They were all wonderful companies, but A Small World Tree Co. is by far and away the best and the most effective. I am very particular about my trees. All of them. I have done my own tree care and pruning work since I was two and a half years old, and helped my father. But I have some huge oaks. They were huge 63 years ago, and they are even larger now. And, I am just not able to work more than about 25 off the ground. There is an artistry to pruning, and Jim, from A Small World, is an artist. Jim allowed me to watch while he explained the intricate details and fine points of what he was doing. He was superlative, and he both taught me, and informed me, so that I could do those things that I still do even better. He has an encyclopedic knowledge and he freely shared that with me. He was a delightful and fascinating person. His crew was similarly efficient. They worked in harmony and their movements dovetailed into one another with no fuss and no feathers. It was magical! I got to know Jim, Natalie, and the whole crew. They were here from about 8:15 AM to about 4:00 PM. I will definitely recommend them to all my friends. I could not have asked for better people, or a better job!
