I met wonderful people
Recently I was on my way from Californiato a wedding inSpokane, Wa., Just before I reached Chamult my car totally died. Ken the "wonderfully, kind" tow truck driver said it sounds like the transmission. He towed my car 65mi to Bend. This was the closest Aamco. That's where I met Steve & Toni, the owners. I had called and said i was on my way there ( it was late in the day & they stayed open waiting for me). I was traveling with family, so I left my car & continued on my way to the wedding. Steve called me the next day & gave me the bad news I needed a new transmission & it would take several days. So, I went home to California. Steve called me every few days to keep me posted.
I then drove back to Bend ( a 650 mile drive) to get my car. On my way Steve called me to tell me it was all ready to go. He had washed it & filled the tank for me.
He saw a warning sign about my tires & took the car to a tire shop to check it out. I needed a new sensor. They noticed I had a bad tire, which means that all my tires had to be replaced ( all wheel drive).
Once again Steve had to call me with more expensive bad news. But he got the tires at his cost for me.
I am now home and got a call from Toni "checking on me".
I can't say enough kind things about these people. Steve took what was a very stressful situation for me & made it bearable. The kindness & compassion that they showed toward me was well above & beyond plain " customer service".
Thank You so much Steve & Toni
