I came in with a tire in mind, and Gary agreed it was the appropriate tire for my car. I asked about a more expensive brand, but he said spending that money was not necessary as the tire would probably need replacement due to dry rot before it's treadlife was done. My car could have used new brake pads and rotors, but he said that the car could be driven safely for another 5-6 thousand miles. He seemed more interested in keeping me as a customer than he did about selling a job to me.
