There is no bass amp on the market that produces as clear and even sound as the Phil Jones amp. The unique design allows each member of the jazz big band to hear bass at the same volume no matter how close of far away they are seated from it. The player himself can monitor his sound clearly from the top speakers. The direct in is as clean as any D.I. box out there and I still can't figure out why it weighs so little. A must for any school band room.
