I took my 01 Jetta in with an electrical problem. Turns out that the brake switch was bad, and that I needed a new battery. Somehow the new battery with install was about $250 dollars. That seemed like a rip off. They quoted me over the phone for around $450, which included the switch, the battery and miscellaneous testing...AND to bleed the brakes which they said were low on fluid. They also stated that I was using the wrong coolant. All this was included in the $450. The only services I received were the brake switch, testing and the battery, plus a car wash. And they missed a spot while cleaning.
