I've had solar for my pool since Diablo Solar Services installed it a year after we moved here in 1988. I like that because it does most of the pools heating, and the heater just heats the hot tub.

I always wanted my house's electricity to come from solar, so about a year ago I got that done. They say it figures to be five to seven years until you get your money back, then you're free and clear. And it gives you a higher resale value for your house. I wish everybody did it.
