Quick, efficient, over priced

GAP was on time, quick and efficient however, they charged me an arm and a leg for a minor repair. Highly disappointed and feel taken advantage of.

Unfortunately, overhead makes the first hour rate what it is, but we are still by far cheaper than many. I did take a look at your service call, and yes it was short. I always encourage the guys that when on a short call to do the following:
#1 - Be apologetic and explain.
#2 - Ask if there is something else they can do for you
#3 - If you do not have anything else,ask if they can check your water heater. Most are in the attic, and I don't know about you but I do not spend much time in my attic in the summer.
In any case, from what you said I expect this did not happen, and for that I am sorry. I am still going to publish this review because it is an honest review and deserves to be published. Your opinion is always important even if I cannot really do anything about your issue.
