I had previously used various steam cleaning companies for my carpeting and upholstery, with mixed results. Then a couple of years ago, a friend recommended ChemDry and since then, I have never called anyone else. With steam cleaning, the carpet is left quite wet, and as it dries, old stains lift and return. There is also a feel of residue left behind. With ChemDry, there are no surprise "stain hauntings" and no residue. What you see when the workers leave is what you get: clean carpet and couches, plus a wonderful scent throughout the house. The workers have always been punctual and friendly, too. I have recommended ChemDry many times and will continue to do so.
