Sydney, at Kitchen En-Counter, designed my kitchen, all three bathrooms, and my office, so she pretty much did my whole house. If I ever have another remodel project she would be the first person I would call. When anybody asks, I tell them Sydney is my designer. I have been really happy with her.

When we started the project she really took me by the hand. She would ask what I wanted and would guide me toward the correct choices to put it together. Sydney took me to all the tile and design stores. If she hadn't gone with me it wouldn't have come together so well.

It was nice because I could just point out what I wanted and she would put it together to do the project. A lot of designers don't do that, and instead they just bring over some samples that you have to choose from. Sydney would let me pick out whatever I liked, and then she would put it together. Sometimes we would have to compromise, because not everything looks good together, but she would find one way or another to please me.

She got me everything I needed, and then it was up to me to choose the contractor I wanted to hire. She has some contractors that I could use as well. I like that because it gives me more control over the project. Some kitchen stores have their own contractors, and you don't really have a choice. They don't even let you interview the contractors. With Sydney I could use who I wanted.

What I love about Sydney is that she makes the process of finding everything fun. She is very friendly and approachable. I was never afraid to tell her that I didn't like something, or that I changed my mind. She aims to please and doesn't have a problem with varying opinions. Choosing the materials could be an all day process, and she was fun to hang out with. I enjoyed looking for new ideas with Sydney.
