Had an issue with an electric water heater. The tank sprung a small leak, right above the thermostats and heating elements. The leak shorted out the thermostats causing them to go up in flames. (No other damage to the house, no one hurt.) Called Maffei, they located my account, stemming from another water heater failure from about 20 years ago, and dispatched someone to assess the damage. He showed up in about 30 minutes, looked at the problem, and offered us four options to fix the problem. He fully explained everything that was being proposed. We picked one and scheduled a 9:00 service appointment for the next morning. They showed up right on time and two hours later...hot water. The following day, the plumbing inspector showed up and declared it "a thing of beauty." I could not agree more.

Twice we have used Maffei and twice they came through in a pinch for us. If anyone asks, I will recommend Maffei Sudden Service.
