I called AG Diesel Repair requesting a STANDARD quote for STANDARD maintenance on a STANDARD Dodge diesel truck (fuel filter replacement, oil change, transfer case fluid replacement, etc.). The guy wouldn't even provide a quote insisting that I visit the business. When a business will not provide you pricing on regular maintenance items, avoid them at all cost (or hold on to your wallet). You are better off doing business with a dealer.

Our policy is to perform a free, courtesy inspection on all vehicles which come into our shop, whether for maintenance or repairs. This courtesy inspection is performed prior to giving estimates for services. Providing our customers with this courtesy inspection benefits our customers, as it gives an accurate overview of the condition of the vehicle prior to services being performed.

While it may seem simple to give a standard price for standard maintenance, without seeing your vehicle and knowing if there are issues like a leaking drain plug or something similar, giving you a price over the phone would be a disservice to you. We prefer that our estimates be as accurate as possible and this is our procedure for providing our customers with such.

If you would like to bring your vehicle in for our free, courtesy inspection we will gladly let you know the condition of your vehicle and then provide you with an estimate for the standard maintenance you seek. Thank you again for your online review.
