3 years ago Schneller technicians installed a heat pump integrated into my fuel oil furnace. They were competitive in pricing and did an excellent installation. Neat and tidy. This past week the fuel oil pump started leaking. Schneller's technician came out to repair it. 1st attempt he was unsuccessful and in fact didn't even inspect the pump. $284. 2nd attempt he agreed the pump was leaking and it would cost $988. My wife and I decided to get another company to give us a repair price. The Schneller technician reinstalled the old pump but now the motor trips the overload breaker. Unfortunately the furnace is in worse shape after 2 repair attempts and our pockets are $284 lighter. One of the other reputable companies in the area will replace the motor and pump for less than $988. One bad experience does not make a bad company as I said in the beginning they did an excellent install on my heat pump. I am just venting my frustration with the experience.
