Our shower handle had sheered-off the valve and water was running. Randy arrived quickly. He quoted the price for a simple cartridge replacement. After he began work, we discovered that the cartridge could not be pulled out, so he chipped it out of the housing. Also, the first replacement cartridge did not fit exactly right, so he removed it and installed a second cartridge, which worked. Although there was extra time and effort for this repair, the original quoted price was charged; and never were there any words from Randy that this job might need extra money to cover the extra effort.
