Beware predatory company!
TLDR: Charged us 1000$ to snake a drain. Apparently charges 300$ an hour and takes over 3 hours to snake a drain.

Called this company through our condo association to come unclog our main water drain. Young man who came to do the job told us that they sent him to 3 wrong houses before they found ours. Didn’t seem like a big deal to us at first. He proceeded to unclog the drain in the basement using the mechanical drain. Took him maybe an hour to clear it and also ran our sinks and toilets to make sure we wouldn’t have another problem. He was pleasant and efficient and cleaned the floor that leads to the basement, he was insistent on mopping the basement floor, but I told him I would take care of it. The young man left our house, however proceeded to sit in his running van, parked in my parking spot (I moved my car so he could have easier access to the front door to bring his equipment in and out) for about 20-30 mins. This normally wouldn’t have bothered me, however our plow company was doing some clean up and they had no access to clear my space now that this van was parked there and not moving. I was unhappy to not have a plowed parking spot and thought that was rude of him considering he obviously saw the plow, but I had no issues with this service until I saw the bill. $1000 to snake a drain for an hour? When we inquired about the bill they told us that their rate is 300$ an hour and that the job took 3 hours. In my opinion, if it takes you 3 hours to snake a drain, then someone should be fired or retrained at their job. My assumption is that their scheme involved sending this young man to multiple wrong houses and him sitting in my driveway for a prolong period of time, so that they could charge us for 3 hours of “work.” I am so thankful that I insisted on mopping my own floor (really just my personal preference to know its done the way I wanted it) because I’m sure they would’ve tacked on another hour and another 300$. We went back and forth with this company regarding the bill and they were incredibly rude and dismissive. I will absolutely never use this company ever again and will make sure that everyone I know doesn’t as well. It’s truly criminal that this company is allowed to get away with things like that and is unable to take any responsibility. So disappointed that people can be so greedy and cruel. My best advice is to find a reliable family or community plumber.
