ridiculous expensive

I had my system completely replaced by JR Perkins in 2012. this last April 2016 my condenser failed, while the warranty was still in effect for the condenser labor wasn't covered, so I call Jr Perkins, and somehow labor for install was 1,350$ no breakdown of cost available, "it's a difficult job for 2 people" . They came out the next day, and were here 28 minutes. Wouldn't we all like to make $1,350/hour.

Christel, First off I would like to explain that the warranty isn't through J.R.Perkins, it is a manufacture warranty so the labor warranty was shown to you when you bought the unit and it was a 1 yr labor warranty. So that being said you would have to pay for labor, second it was a compressor not the condenser that we replaced and the cost was for freon not the compressor, freon is never covered under wty from any manufacture. We don't go by how long we do flat rate pricing so that everyone gets the same price. If they were at your house for 3 hours would you want to pay extra for that? I'm guessing no so thats why to be fair to every customer we give you a flat price. We always try to do the right thing for our customers I hope this explains things alittle better for you.
