I was new to my health insurance and looked for a dentist and found Avon Family Dental Care and decided to check them out. I scheduled a teeth cleaning and asked about my insurance synching up with their fees and they told me that they would accept any type of dental insurance.
I came for my appointment and I was disappointed with my dentist because he didn't wear gloves and wouldn't touch my teeth. He just peeked inside and he was more interested in showing me the pictures of his vacation on his walls. I will say that the hygienist who cleaned my teeth was very nice and did a good job, but afterwards when it came time to pay, it became frustrating.
They told me they didn't take my dental insurance because it was out of network and they wanted me to pay the full amount. I cannot recommend Avon Family Dental Care based on my experience and I have since found a new dentist who accepts my insurance.
