I have a 1987 BMW convertible that needed repairs to the shift lever. The car was towed to J&F for the repairs and had previously been serviced at J&F ($3K plus in parts and labor). J&F fixed the shift lever at a reasonable fee but also installed a new battery. The battery was not installed in accordance with the manufacturer specifications because it was not poperly locked in place in the battery mount shelf. When picking up the car I felt like the service department felt like this car wasn't worth their time. Money is money and an old car as a fixer upper hobby car is likely going to need the help of the professionals now and then.

I have 2007 335i that is out of warranty now and will be looking for an independent BMW shop to service that car. I'm willing to give J&F another opportunity to earn my business.
