What is Customer Lobby?
Customer Lobby is an independent business based in Berkeley, California. Our products and services enable companies to enhance communication with and among their most important resource – their customers.
Although customer reviews are linked to and accessible directly from the website of the company being reviewed, the reviews are hosted and maintained by Customer Lobby. Customer Lobby guarantees that:
Reviews that are published on a Customer Lobby review page are written by customers of the business being reviewed. To maintain their privacy, we do not publish the last name of the reviewers unless the reviewer writes or approves the listing of their last name in the main body of the review. Customer Lobby periodically calls customers of the businesses being reviewed to request a review and transcribes the highlights of those conversations into reviews.

Can anyone write a review?
We believe that customer feedback is critical. However, only customers of a business are allowed to publish reviews of that business. In addition, reviewers need to have been a customer of the business they are reviewing within the prior 12 months.

Are all reviews published?
All valid customer reviews that do not violate our below publishing guidelines will be published within 10 days of their submission.
Reviews that include any of the following will not be published:

Obscenities, discriminatory language, or other inappropriate comments (including any comments written in a language other than English) not suitable for this forum;

Advertisements, “spam” content, or references to other companies, reviewers, services, products, offers, or websites;

Email addresses, URL's, phone numbers, physical addresses, or other forms of contact information;

Reviews that: are not written by a paying customer (including pre-paid customers) of the company being reviewed; are not written about an experience a customer had within the last 12 months; have been withdrawn by the reviewer; or that Customer Lobby believes to be untrue.

Critical or spiteful comments about other reviews or their authors;

Computer viruses, scripts, tags, worms or other potentially damaging computer programs or files; or
-
Comments that may reasonably be considered to be defamatory, libelous, hateful, racially or religiously biased or offensive, unlawfully threatening or unlawfully harassing to any individual, partnership or corporation.
Customer Lobby reserves the right to not publish any review at its sole discretion. This publishing policy is subject to change without notice.

Will my review be edited?
No. However, if your comments are offensive or inappropriate, your review will not be published.

Why do I need to create an account to write a review?
We do not allow anonymous reviews to be published. Your published review will not identify you (only your first name). However, the business that you reviewed will be able to see your identity to verify that you are a customer. If you want to send an anonymous comment to a business, you can use the Suggestion Box field at the bottom of the review form. Although we require that you create an account with us to use the Suggestion Box, all feedback entered into the Suggestion Box field is sent to the company anonymously.

Can I send an anonymous comment to a company?
You can send an anonymous comment to a company as part of a review. At the bottom of the review form is the Suggestion Box section. All comments that are entered in the Suggestion Box section are not published on a company's review page and are sent to the company being reviewed without identifying the author of the comments. However, in order to submit your Suggestion Box comment, you must create an account and write a review. The business that you reviewed will be able to see your review matched with your identity to verify that you are a customer.

What is your privacy policy?
Our policy is simple and effective. We will not sell, rent or trade your personal information. Period. When you submit a review, your name and email address will be made available to the business you are reviewing. However, all information you submitted in the Suggestion Box part of the review form will be sent to the business you are reviewing with no information identifying who you are.

Can I delete a review after I have written it?

Please click the Flag This Review button under the review and use the comment section of the Flag dialog box to tell us why this review was offensive.

Am I allowed to write anything I want?
Yes, so long as your comments are factual, honest and appropriate (for example not vulgar, defamatory, libelous, obscene or racist). We do not allow reviews that contain comments that identify individuals (name, phone number, etc.) or that contain links or scripts. We encourage you to be factual and honest. Remember, you could be held legally responsible for damaging a person's or business's reputation if a court were to find that your remarks constitute libel or defamation.
