I come to Pitman Manor as a volunteer pianist bimonthly for the Vespers Service. Several years ago I did consulting work for nursing homes throughout the country. Pitman Manor is one of the best facilities I have seen. Every area I have been in is kept very clean. The residents are happy and treated well by employees who I have seen call the residents by name and will stop and speak to them. In other words the residents are treated as normal people which in reality is what they are. I cannot remember another facility I was at that the atmosphere was always upbeat. It seems everyone there has a smile on their face and friendly greeting. The Manor is owned by the Methodist church and from what I have seen Christianity is practiced there. This should be an example to other facilities opening to the public.
