I worked with Kerry in Layton on a water pump/timing belt replacement for my Jetta. Kerry was great to work with, communicated well on everything, and did a great job on the repair. However, I was charged $195 for a water pump. I found the exact same Graf model online for less than $80. Although I expect some minimal markup on parts, Dave's is likely able to get it at less than online retail, so a markup of well over 100% is unacceptable. Timing belt tensioner was also marked up over 50%. I will likely not use Dave's again for work.
