I have been using Scientific Automotive for maybe 35 years, before Jack owned it. When my dad had Porsches we would go there for service. I have been using Jack for my own cars probably since 1984, when I had a Porsche 911. There have been times when I didn't use him because I had cars he doesn't work on. Jack works on my current car, a BMW, which I have had for 6 or 7 years.

Jack is a good troubleshooter. He will not sell you stuff you don't need. He might say that we need to keep an eye on it, but that it is not necessary immediately. The dealer wants you to fix everything immediately, but Jack is more practical and pragmatic. He assess your pocketbook, not just the car, and helps you make decisions based on that.

There might be shops cheaper than Scientific Automotive, but Jack does everything on the up and up. Especially compared to the dealer, he is really good. I recommend him all the time.
