Works as advertised.

My back patio is clad in unglazed porcelain tile and was extremely slippery when wet. I liberally applied the correct Slip Resistant Solution for this material as directed, but waited 15 minutes before neutralizing, as the suggested tennis shoe slip test was indeterminate. After neutralization and washing a noticeable improvement to the patio's grip was felt when walking on wet tiles while wearing shoes. The grip while walking on the wet tiles with bare feet was also improved but not quite as pronounced. We do not have a swimming pool so this is less of a factor. Although I am well satisfied with the product I may try a second treatment before cold weather arrives to see if further improvement can be achieved. I still have half a gallon left after treating 300 square feet.

Thank you for the review! You can treat the tile further with a second application. I would recommend testing an out of the way area to determine exactly how long the second treatment should be. Based on the amount of product leftover after 300 sq ft I would also recommend applying more product over the tile than used in the first treatment.

Too little product on the surface of the tile will cause the treatment to be slower because as it is exposed to the minerals in the tile surface the "strength" of the product decreases over time. Having just a little bit more product on the tile will noticeably shorten the amount of time needed. A second treatment should be much shorter than 15 min especially if using more product than previously. Please let us know if you need anything.
