When you move to a new area, especially from out of state, finding a reliable and honest mechanic is always a concern. Jeffrey's Automotive came highly recommended by several people, including the tire store I took my car to when I needed new tires. The tire store was unable to remove one of my tires because a lug nut was frozen and they could not get it off without breaking the stem. Since it would be unsafe for me to drive it somewhere for a repair if the stem was broken, they recommended I take it to Jeffrey's first and let them try to remove it. It turned out the mechanic at Jeffrey's was able to use something that loosened the nut. They didn't charge me for the service, which I thought was wonderful. I have taken the car to them for my inspections and other repairs. They are always honest about what needs to be done and what doesn't need to be done. I have never felt like they were trying to take advantage of me because I am a woman. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs repairs to their vehicle or a state inspection.
