I loved almost everything about Impression.
Ashley from Impression Bridal was great! She gets 8 or a 9 stars. But the seamstress I had was not so helpful and rates a 1 star.
Ashley was very helpful. She listened to everything I said and asked me questions and put me into each dress I picked. She even found dresses that had pieces from the dresses I liked. She pulled dresses herself that she thought I might like. The wedding dress I ended up buying was one Ashley had pulled for me. I didn't like it at first, but she brought in a colored belt and some lace and made it perfect! She went way above and beyond what someone would normally do to help me find my wedding dress.
However, the seamstress I worked with completely ignored me. It was a fight with her from day one. I would tell her that I wanted it done a certain way, like for instance I was getting married outside so I wanted the hem about one inch shorter than normal. Every time I went in for a fitting, the hem had not been changed. She would tell me that she'd do it for the next time. Things were still not changed one week out from the wedding date. Finally, she fixed the hem so that it was shorter in the front, but she left the back the same length. It wasn't the end of the world, but I would have liked the changes I asked for. I had also asked for a sweetheart neckline, yet the top of the dress was still loose and not as much of the sweetheart neckline that I hoped for. In my wedding pictures, you can see the top doesn't fit quite right.
I loved everything about Impression, from the dresses to the service, from Ashley to the rest of the staff, everything was great except for the seamstress I worked with. The other seamstress who worked on my bridesmaids dresses was great.
