I absolutely LOVE this daycare. I have had my kids in 2 other daycares (Pumpkin Patch in Cromwell, pretty good, and Penny's Playground Plainville...AWFUL) and am so happy my kids are now at Educational Playcare. They have been enrolled here for about a year and the service and care is amazing. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming and make you feel like they really care about and have a connection with your children. As I leave the center for the day, my youngest stops and gives hugs to almost every teacher she sees to say bye, as she has gotten to know many of them as she's transitioned through stages. This center also accepts NACCRRA, are happy to help you navigate the process and make it very simple. The center has dramatically improved the speech and motor functions of my youngest, who was a bit delayed in those areas. Upon starting at EPC, we noticed an significant difference after only a couple of weeks. My oldest is only 3, and she is already able to write most of her name. Both girls will come home talking about what they did in Quack Pack, playing in the bounce house, field trips, "Visitors" like the Reptile Guy. They have taught me new signs and yoga poses they are learning and my oldest has asked to start doing Happy Piano classes. On occasion, we will order the family dinner, which is available for pick up when you pick up the kids and makes dinner night a breeze. I love receiving photos and updates throughout the day via the Tadpoles app to see what the kids are up to. I could honestly write pages and pages of all the things this center does for my kids and our family, and it would all be positive.
