I have used Mr. Handyman serving Debary, Lake Mary, and Winter Springs for about a year and a half. When you're dealing with a handyman, it's a personality thing. I had a handyman, but he retired. I tried a few others, but I didn't really feel comfortable with them. I found Mr. Handyman, and I like that they are a service with multiple employees. They cover the insurance, so I don't have to worry about being sued and the employee is covered under workers compensation. And if someone is out sick, they will send out another guy. It's a more professional operation. Everyone from Mr. Handyman has been personal, affable, experienced and confident. Once I had them fix an area of rock I had in the fascia under my roof. They diagnosed the problem and reconstructed the entire corner of the hipped roof in one day. They aren't the cheapest guys, but the quality really speaks for itself. This time I had them come to string Christmas lights that were too high for me to install without making my wife uncomfortable. Mr. Handyman sent out George Austin, a former vet, a very solid, dependable guy. He walked around the house with me, got to work, and at the end of the job, Chad, the owner, showed up just to make sure I was happy with the work, which really impressed me. They are very professional. I will definitely continue to use them!
